DRIVER POSITION
Drivers transport clients safely in a timely manner, and they may have to work nights and weekends to accomplish their duties. Hold and maintain a clean Michigan driving license. No criminal background or Medicaid fraud is allowed. This is by state mandate . Be able to pass random and annual drug & background checks.
Pay: $15 to 16 per hour to start, depending on experience
Common duties and responsibilities for drivers are to:
· Transport clients to and from destinations
· Arrive & to destinations on schedule
· Observe all safety rules of the road & legal speeds
· Keep mileage records and documentation up-to-date
Keep trip logs, trip tickets correct, as well as neat and readable.
· Take care of company vehicles (car wash, remove trash etc)
· Fulfill administrative needs, like keep masks, business cards pens, pencils etc. in the vehicles
· Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays before leaving for trips.
· Use navigation applications to determine the best route
· Always interact with clients professionally & courteously
· Follow all ADA rules and regulations for wheel chair clients
· Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
· Notify supervisors of repairs or maintenance needed on vehicles.
· Observe ZERO tolerance drug & alcohol policies.
· Maintain State driving licenses, regulations & certificates
· Pass random and annual drug & background checks
Knowledge and ability to use cloud based NEMT apps are a plus.
Willingness to drive long distance trips are mandatory

- Proficient in QuickBooks a must.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
